A trial research on more than 2,000 Chinese women, with 1,009 breast-cancer patients (aged 20-87 found that the mushroom consumption (both fresh and dried), lower the breast-cancer risk.
Having greatest amounts of fresh mushrooms (10 grams or more per day) were about 2/3 less. And who ate 4 grams per day resulted their breast-cancer risk fall by half.
Interestingly, it is found that their risk lowers even more if they also drank green tea daily.
Consumption of both mushrooms and green tea shows a sign of decrease in the disease level 11 percent better than that of consuming either these food items.
The study used green tea, which is a "younger" tea but which still has caffeine.
